The Governors of AGS are enthusiastic and committed, supporting the school's leadership and regularly monitoring and providing challenge. They meet termly in committees and as a full Governing Body. The three sub committees of the Governing Body are Learning and Teaching, Community and Development and Resources including Finance. The Chairman of Governors, Mr Kevin Hardern, is an ardent supporter of the school and meets regularly with the Headmaster and visits school along with other Governors.
