Aims and Objectives 

• The AGS PTA exists primarily as a fund raising organisation to provide money to the school for items which are outside of its capital budget.
• We provide a range of events throughout the year designed to appeal to parents and pupils.
• We encourage the development of social links inside and outside of the school.
• We recognise a need for “fun” events that are aimed at pupils, families and friends and which are not specifically fund raisers.
• We sponsor pupils to achieve social and educational goals via bursaries and the Good Citizens Trophy.
• We involve teachers and support staff in PTA events and activities.
• We develop links with outside companies, businesses, charities, and other schools.
• We want success for the school, its pupils, teachers and parents.
