There is a very strong tradition of sporting excellence and involvement at Aylesbury Grammar School. We have provided 16 England Junior Rugby Internationals and many county, divisional and international competitors across a range of sports. A recent Head Boy played in the England U20 Rugby World Cup side.

We have done very well in national competitions, reaching the latter stages of events in Athletics, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Rugby, Squash and Tennis. School teams and matches involve a large number of boys, while nearly all students participate in the extensive programme of House Sports competitions.

Our sporting achievement has been recognised in the Sportsmark Award. In 2009 we were Sport School of the Year in Aylesbury Vale.
