For current Year 5 and 6 students – online information

We were incredibly pleased to be able to welcome nearly 300 Year 5 and 6 families to Aylesbury Grammar School, in person, during our recent Open Evenings.  For any families who were unable to attend, please look through the videos and information on our school website to learn more about us.  If you have any questions then please email Mr Singh (Assistant Headteacher and Head of Lower School) – gsingh@ags.bucks.sch.uk

We are pleased to announce that despite concerns with having visitors on site we can confirm that we will be running Open Day tours on Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th October.

However, to limit numbers and ensure safety of the school community, we will need to ask the following;
  • The visits are only aimed at Year 6 students, who have passed the Secondary Transfer Test
    • We will be running more Open Events for Y5 students later in the academic year
  • The visits will last for one hour (9-10am, 10-11am, 11:30-12:30pm and 12:30-1:30pm)
    • We will need to limit families to one child and one parent
  • Adults will need to have taken a Lateral Flow test prior to the day
  • All visitors will be required to wear face covering throughout the duration of their time at AGS
  • If you, or your son, is suffering from Covid symptoms then you must not attend
  • As this is a normal school day, there is no parking available on site.

Booking for the Open Days will be available from 4pm on Friday 15th October.
