Students from Year 8 enjoyed a culture filled visit to the French region of Burgundy last week. Arriving to a beautiful golden sunset, students settled in a for week of engaging activities and sight seeing.
The first morning saw them put their circus skills to the test with Acro balance, plate spinning and diablo practice. Special mention to Mr Travers who nailed the diablo in the first session and is seriously considering running off with the circus!
Having worked up an appetite, students then turned their attentions to creating custard baked fruit desserts, Tartouillat (which were delicious!) and later judged by a panel of experts (better known as the hungry teachers!) A great afternoon! Bon aprés-midi!
Evening strolls, market visits and a hotly contested Pétanque, La finale concluded a superb stay!
