Curriculum sport and fitness provision gives every student the opportunity to engage in healthy lifestyle choices, through PE and Games across the School. Swimming is an integral part of the Key Stage 3 curriculum, providing essential skills to all students.
From curriculum, recreation, house competition through to representing the School, there is an opportunity in all sports for everyone.
In 2019, the School was ranked third in England for state school sport by the School Sports Magazine. This is an amazing accolade and testament to the provision and expertise of the staff and students. With national success in Handball, Squash, Swimming, Cross Country, Tennis, Athletics alongside the larger team sports of Rugby, Football and Cricket, the School excels in providing the very best opportunities.
We provide an array of outstanding facilities with a full Sports Hall for basketball, badminton, handball, indoor football, gymnasium for gymnastics, table tennis, dodgeball, swimming pool, William Harding Squash courts, fully staffed fitness suite, cricket square, three rugby pitches, football pitches and four tennis courts.
School teams and fixtures involve a very large number of boys, while nearly all students participate in the extensive programme of House Sports competitions. The Brodie Trophy is keenly contested by all students and provides all students with an opportunity to play competitive sport in School.
Our sporting achievement has been recognised in the Sportsmark Award as well as through the School Sport Magazine. We are 2019 National Under 15 Handball Champions, Under 18 Buckinghamshire Football Champions, Under 14 Buckinghamshire Rugby Champions.
