Summer 2026 Certificates:

Certificates for the Summer 2026 exams will be issued in November/December 2026.

Students who are still at school should have received their certificates via their tutor.

Students who have left will have their certificates posted to them ‘2nd class signed for’ at the address which we held for you when you left school unless you tell us otherwise.

Information on obtaining replacement GCE and GCSE examination certificates can be found on: https://www.gov.uk/replacement-exam-certificate

In the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations ALL GCSE and A Level students must be available to sit an exam on National Contingency Day – Wednesday 23 June 2027.   Do bear this in mind when booking holidays post-exams.

Deadline for GCSE Autumn Resits is Monday 28 September 2026 (English Language and Maths only).

Fees:
English Language – £58.10 (Pearson)
Maths – £56.65 (Pearson)

A Level exams are only held during the Summer so it would not be possible to resit these in the Autumn.

The GCSE dates are as follows

• English paper 3 November 
• English paper 5 November
• Maths paper 4 November
• Maths paper 6 November
• Maths paper 9 November

Summer 2027 resits **Returning AGS Students ONLY**

If you would like to resit a GCSE, AS, or A Level exam in Summer 2027, please complete the form below. All requests will need to be approved by the Headmaster (we will let you know the outcome by email) and you will need to pay the exam fee (details on the form). Requests must be received by 31st January 2026.

You will be entered as a private candidate and any tutoring will be your own responsibility.
