An Inspiring Learning Environment

We want to be the School of choice for local families, preparing all students to shape and succeed in the modern world.  Encouraging access to the opportunities we have here enhances our community. We provide opportunities for motivated boys who contribute to School life and inspire those around them. It ensures we stay relevant and connected to the community in which we live and work. 

 

Each year the admission authority for all schools and academies are required to review their admission arrangements and the admission authority must consult on proposed changes to the admission arrangements. The admission authority for Aylesbury Grammar School is its Governing Body.
 
The Governing Body wish to consult on proposed amendments to the School’s admissions policy which would take effect from the beginning of the academic year in 2027 (See ‘Draft Admissions Policy September 2027’ below).
 
The Governing Body welcomes any comments on the updated policy and the public consultation period will run for a period of six weeks from Wednesday 1 October 2025 until Wednesday 12 November 2025. Please send your comments to the school office office@ags.bucks.sch.uk   making clear that they are for the attention of the Chair of Governors.
