Please be aware that historically we are unlikely to have many (if any) vacancies in Years 8 & 9, therefore in the majority of cases successful applicants will be given a place on the waiting list for that Year group only.
The application process for years 8 & 9 entry (September 2026) will go live between Monday 6th October 2025 and Friday 24th October 2025 via the online application portal on the Buckinghamshire Council website:
To apply for Year 10/11 entry for September 2026 please download the application form below and return directly to Aylesbury Grammar School. The deadline for Year 10/11 applications is Friday 24th October 2025.
The test date will be Saturday 7th February 2026 at Aylesbury Grammar School. Please note we are highly unlikely to have any available spaces to offer candidates who are successful in the tests. Those who choose to will be added to our waiting list.
