Many alumni, parents and friends have participated in our careers activities, societies and speakers programme to help our current students learn more about life beyond Aylesbury Grammar School. Events include career advice and support including practice interviewing, speaking at events and lectures, offering work experience and providing mentoring opportunities.
Volunteering is a great way to stay connected with our School whilst making a huge difference to students and alumni. Can you give your time to help inspire and share knowledge and stories with the AGS community?
We are always looking for interesting speakers for society talks, our Inspirational speakers Programme and other events with our students and alumni community. If you would be interested in speaking and have a passion for your chosen field please do get in contact.
We run a number of social and networking events for Old Aylesburians, parents and students and we rely on the generous support of individuals who host events at their offices, clubs, restaurants and sports grounds ensuring we can keep costs low for attendees. If you have a venue that would suit a networking event, informal drinks or a dinner, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Would you be willing to mentor students and speak to recent School leavers to offer informal careers advice? Register your interest at the School’s Development Office.
If as an Old Aylesburian, parent or friend of our School, you would like to get involved in any of these initiatives, please do get touch with the development team.
I am a member of several alumni communities, but the work done by the Old Aylesburians is by far the highest quality, consistency and appeal – keep up the great work!
