The opening line is one that perhaps makes us all the most proud “Pupils flourish in this exceptional school” and to receive this feedback is an amazing accolade for the School and its community. As you will read, we have been judged as outstanding in all five of Ofsted’s categories: Education Inspection Framework, namely Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Sixth Form Provision, and Leadership and Management.
The report is only two pages long but captures the culture and excellence of our School.
The judgement follows the release of the Ofsted data that only 17% of previously judged outstanding schools maintained their outstanding judgement. A truly exceptional result for our extraordinary students and team here at AGS and one we should all be very proud of. Our last full Ofsted was in 2009, and so this judgement is within a totally new and considerably more challenging Ofsted framework.
The Ofsted process is only one point in time, but we know that the commitment and passion for our School is ever present, both before and after this process.
