Summer 2025 Certificates:

Certificates for the Summer 2025 exams will be issued in November 2025.

Students who are still at school should have received their certificates via their tutor.

Students who have left will have their certificates posted to them by Recorded Delivery.  

Information on obtaining replacement GCE and GCSE examination certificates can be found on: https://www.gov.uk/replacement-exam-certificate

In the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations ALL GCSE and A Level students must be available to sit an exam on National Contingency Day – Wednesday 24 June 2026.   Do bear this in mind when booking holidays post-exams.

These are the subject specification codes for GCSE and A level subjects 2023-2025. 

Please refer to the specific awarding body websites for further details.

Deadline for GCSE Autumn Resits is Thursday 25 September 2025 (English Language and Maths only).

Fees:
English Language – £56.40
Maths – £55.00

A Level exams are only held during the Summer so it would not be possible to resit these in the Autumn.

The dates are as follows

• English paper 1 – 4 November 
• English paper 2 – 7 November
• Maths paper 1 – 6 November
• Maths paper 2 – 7 November
• Maths paper 3 – 10 November

Summer 2026 resits

If you would like to resit a GCSE, AS, or A Level exam in Summer 2026, please complete the form below. All requests will need to be approved by the Headmaster and you will need to pay the exam fee. Requests must be received by 31st January 2026.
