Curry & Quiz Night
Our annual Curry & Quiz Night, usually held in November, is one of the PTA’s most popular events and regularly sells out within days.
It’s a fantastic evening of great food, friendly competition and plenty of laughs, bringing together parents, staff and friends of the school. Gather a team, enjoy a delicious curry, and put your knowledge to the test with questions covering everything from history and science to sport and popular culture.

Summer Fete
Every summer term we hold our annual Summer Fete and this year’s event will be held in June 2027 (date tbc) from 11am until 3pm. Once date confirmed, put this date in your diary and bring all the family to enjoy a great day out. We welcome all future, existing and past Aylesburians and their families, as well as the local community.
The PTA Summer Raffle prizes are also drawn on this day.

Year 7 Students Weekend Activity
Usually held over a weekend early in the academic year to help new Y7 students make new friends across the year, outside of the classroom environment.
The event for 2026 is still TBC but about to be announced soon, so if you would like to help make it happen please email pta@ags.bucks.sch.uk
Year 7 Family Social Event
Our annual Year 7 Family Social is a fantastic opportunity for new AGS families to get to know one another during their first term at the school.
This year’s event will take place on Saturday 26 September 2026 and will feature a fun-filled Beetle Drive, with friendly competition, prizes to be won, and refreshments available from the bar and tuck shop.
The evening is designed to be a relaxed and welcoming introduction to the AGS community, helping families make new connections and build friendships from the very start of their AGS journey.
