Summer Fete
Every summer term we hold our annual Summer Fete and this year’s event will be held on 18th June 2022. Put this date in your diary and bring all the family to enjoy a great day out.
The PTA Summer Raffle prizes are also drawn on this day.
If you are able to help or wish to join the committee please email us.
Curry & Quiz Night
The AGS Quiz and Curry Night is one of the fastest selling nights of the year and for good reason. Who doesn’t like answering questions like “what was the first Mister Men book?”, “which individual has won the most Oscars?”, and “can you name the world’s largest desert?”, while stuffing their face with delicious curry?
Oh, and it’s Mr Tickle, Walt Disney and Antarctica, in case you were wondering.

Summer Ball
Every alternate summer we hold a Summer Ball. This fabulous event includes a three course meal, coffee and chocolates, live bands and disco, plus a Gold and Silver Raffle and Auction of Promises. The Ball is held at the school in a magically transformed quad and school hall. You can organise your own table of 10, or leave it to us to mix and match. There are only 150 places available, so don’t delay in applying for tickets for this one – it’s always a sell out!
If you are able to help at this event please email us.
Burns Night
One of AGS’s best-loved fundraising nights. A wonderful mix of Scottish music, food and whisky.

Art and Craft Fair
The AGS Art and Craft Fair – now in its 24th year – showcases around 80 local artists, displaying and selling their works over a weekend. The event kicks off with a preview night for VIPs and artists and then is opened up to the public. As well as paintings and sculpture exhibits, there is a Craft Fair running alongside the event. For more information, or if you would like to exhibit yourself or take a craft stall, please follow the show on Facebook.
Year 7 Team Building
Every autumn the PTA arranges a sell-out team building activity for the Year 7 students, a weekend outing to get to know each other better outside of the classroom environment.
This year the boys can join a half day of outdoor activities at Green Park near Aston Clinton on Sunday, 9th October
